I’ve read through many of the reviews here and it’s just as easy to use as they say. I choose to charge at 200 only and don’t mind the longer wait. One word of warning, the AA batteries included with the machine are bigger than standard batteries by just a hair. I put one in my directv remote and should have realized when i had to ‘force it’ in, it would be difficult to get out. the eneloops slide out very easily though thankfully.

Automatically defaults to 200ma charge and won’t overcharge, as the LCD displays voltage, charging current, charging percentage, and cumulative capacity for each cell compartment. Also, detects a defective battery from charging and works with all NiCd & NiMH AA and AAA rechargeable batteries. The previous version of this battery charger had known issues with the adaptor. This version comes with the new upgraded adaptor featuring overheat detection to protect against overcharging.
