Just bought an iphone 3GS and after much online research decided to buy this case. It’s completely worth it. The company must have resolved the echoing issue on calls because I have only had clear calls (in NYC) – both on speaker phone, & when holding it to my ear. I followed the advice of other reviewers and added an anti glare screen: so no trouble with bubble effect.
If your smartphone is a fashion accessory, this may not be the case for you – but, if you want to give worry-free protection to your investment,this is the way to go – no question in my mind.
The case does wipe out all the famous iPhone styling, which might be a problem for some, but I was so relieved to feel that I don’t have to worry about dropping the thing that I don’t mind.
It’s not as bulky or heavy as I thought it would be, and since I didn’t buy the iPhone for fashion, I’m very pleased with how light it is. The style evokes a sense of no-nonsense, solid performance.
I was nervous about carrying and using the iphone while I was waiting for the case to arrive, but I now feel totally comfortable taking the phone wherever I go and using it as a casual, regular part of my life, which is why I bought it in the first place.
