I have been looking for this toy, and am glad to have found it in an ad today. My husband went on an overseas mission trip earlier this year, and brought back a European version of this toy. My daughter loves the music, and frequently dances to it, but it is in a language none of us know. I am looking forward to getting her the English one – wondering how many of the songs are the same…

We purchased this for my son for Christmas. He was 6 months old at the time. He has been given many opportunities to play with it, but seems to find it boring. Different kids have different tastes, so despite many other glowing reviews, I wanted to let you know it’s not a sure thing.

I bought this in November 2007 and to date (Feb 2010) she loves this toy. I haven’t had to change batteries. It has fallen a few times but everything is still in tact and fully functioning! It has encouraged her love of music. She just started pre-school so I don’t know if she’ll start using it to count. She didn’t use it for colors either – maybe each page was too colorful. Now that she knows her colors I’ll see if she will acknowledge those the book highlights. Love it, buy it for your child.

My son is the typical toddler, he goes from one to to another. Nothing really suits his fancy for very long. When we bought this from the store on the car ride home (about an hour) he played with the whole time instead of falling to sleep like he normally does. He still plays with it a lot now too. He loves it. And I love that it sings to him and lights up. Very nice toy!

My daughter is now 21 months old- although she did not play with this toy much when she was younger, she now uses it daily on our car ride to/from grandma’s house. It definitely keeps her occupied- she loves listening to the music over and over again. I feel it is better than turning on a DVD player in the car and having her watch cartoons.
